Hi Julian  I wear (UK) 8.5F in Ramsey, 8F in Cambridge...and these two are like second skins....perfect. What size would you recommend for the Armfield in 109 Last? I remember a thread where you asked people to size down a half but 109 cant be as roomy as 87 Last (it looks long and sleek like EGs 82 last) and hence I am hesitant. Thanks.

I got hit with customs. They shipped with fedex despite my request for Royal Mail. They now ship with royal mail to my understanding.

yup they do... but according to their website they only do so if goods are no more than 2kg... If I grab 2 pair of boots the total weight would be easily above 2kg I guess...

Agree. All my FedEx boxes (over 8 to date) arrived next day by 10:30 am and never any custom issues ( knock on wood).

It helps that you live nearby by one of the biggest airport hubs in the nation. Direct flight. I'll take this into consideration when relocating

The weight limit is set by Royal Mail so unfortunately shippers cannot do much except use another carrier.

Bought the Hannover on a Dainite insted of the commando directly from Chay at AS. Though on a non discounted price...

I think I would still go with the 81/2 on the 109 judging from your fit with the 99 and 87.
