Placed an order on the grain longwings, Stepney.

There is an incredible bargain on the Armfield captoe in Mahogany! I have it in black, and it is a fantastic shoe. Too bad I don't need any brown captoes...

hello I am interested in the Alfred Sargent Cambridge boot and the AS Moore in cherry.

I wear CJ 360 last 8.5 UK

Carmina Simpson and Robert 8.5 UK

EG 82 9D UK

Can anyone recommend what size I should get in either of these shoes?

Thanks!

I don't own any C&J on the 360 but I wear 6E on all their lasts (337, 348, 363, 365) and I wear 6.5/7E for EG (82, 888, 33). For the AS 87 (Cambridge) and 724 (Moore) I wear 6F.

Maybe others can chime in on their experiences.

You're size is kind of similar to mine (although it seems your feet might be a bit on the narrow side). I wear C&J 8.5E, Carmina 8.5, EG8.5E and AS8.5F (which is actually an english E regular width, they do this just to confuse us).

AS Moore I would go with your usual C&J size.

But only in the AS Cambridge I sized down by half and it fits just great. Was told Last 87 is pretty generous and I agree.

Love the Cambridge: the thinking (and frugal) man's Galway. I wish they would make them in different colours and contrasting leathers.

This is really helpful thank you!

I actually was just thinking about the galways but it is significantly more expensive.  How would you say the quality is on the Cambridge?  I'm sure they are not on the same level as EG , but how would they compare to C&J or Carmina?

Thanks!

Excellent quality, and the leather breaks in very nicely, have worn them in rain and they take a hammering well, like the champs they are. Very firm-footed and the dainite sole is great too. And believe it or not I like the colour/leather combo more than Galway. I find AS Exclusives shoes more refined than Carmina and quite similar to (although more interesting than) some of C&J's higher end offerings.

I do not own the Cambridge but the Hannover. Excellent boot, well on par with C&J. I also have two other leather soled dress shoes from AS Exclusives. Definitely on a higher level than Carmina and C&J Benchgrade and sligthly below C&J Handgrade IMO

Great thank you!

I just realized that AS makes a narrow fitting as well.  Perhaps I should go with that...anyone know if AFOS can place an order for a narrow on either moores or cambridge?  Id rather get the best fit and pay a bit more

I really like the idea of Cambridge in different calf colours or Shell - you can specify E fitting on the mto we run and are looking to get the next one up and running soon - please see this thread for mto
