Julian,

I sent you a PM yesterday inquiring about a potential order and haven't heard back. If you never received it, please PM me.

Cheers!

Thank you to a fine pair of shoes for the information.  I must say the people on this thread are very helpful.  It certainly makes the experience of buying shoes easier and more enjoyable.  To all the gentlemen on this thread make sure you have the Cambridge for fall and have a great weekend!

I'm looking at the Appleby which is the FX sizing. I wear a 10E US, does anyone know what UK size I would need? 9 or 9.5. Thanks for any help. Jim

Hi - if you let me have your foot length and width measurements in cm I will be able to give you a more accurate answer.

Is that Sarah? I did e-mail those to you. Thanks...

If you are in the US, did you go with a 1/2 or full size down for the sizing?

Any discount codes going around at this time? :)

I've ordered from AFPOS before, and I'm very happy with the service!

We have 20% of all Sanders at the moment, just use "sand20" at checkout.

Okay, thanks!

I have some more questions tough. I'm going to order some Saphir products for my boots, and I have a question about one of the brushes from Saphir. Why is there black and natural bristles? And which should I choose? The boots are dark brown.

And I'm going to order a pair of Cedar shoe trees for my Loake Litchfields. They're in 8.5 UK. Should I then go for size 8-8.5 UK, or 9-9.5 UK in shoetrees? Going for the 8-8.5 UK seems logical, but I think the boots are large in size.

Thank you!

Hi - black brushes for use with Black or Dark brown polish/shoes and Neutral brushes usually used for light brown polish/shoes so they don't colour the bristles too much.

You should be OK with a 8 cedar tree, but without being able to try them in the boot, it is a bit difficult to say for sure.

I was just in NY last week checking out the AS trunk show and had an opportunity to speak with Chay Cooper.  He's a very nice guy and spoke fondly about the team at AFPOS.  The topic of the MTO Blake order came up and he assured me they were going to look great with an excellent burnishing on the oak calf.

He also hinted that the prices for the exclusive range are targeted to increase in the near future.  It's with that in mind that I recommend we begin to submit our preferences for the next make up!  I would be interested in a number of designs (some of which were already made) to include a (perf/reg) cordovan cap toe to replace my daily office wear, as well as the Ramesys possibly on the HS19 last, pimlico on the HS 48, possibly the same for the Alex boot?

Other thoughts?

Ramsey in Navy cordovan. I am interested in light tan; what EG calls Acorn, C&J Beige, G&G Maple. I do not know if AS has an equivalent of that color.

We could go for another Miller of course.
