A Fine Pair Of Shoes: Official Affiliate thread - Page 35

First post, even though I've been reading SF for quite a long time!  Apparently, no brown punch oxfords available. Do you have any plan in that respect? Thanks for your reply.

Hi, Gorgeous shoes indeed! No brown punch cap oxford available? On AS's side?

There are plans to include a punch cap oxford / semi brogue oxford later in the year in suede - should be very nice. Glad you like our shoes and happy to assist you if you have any further questions.

The medaillon on both is the same too!

Can we have a picture of Ramsey in Whyskey Cordovan? Previous one has vanished.... Maybe some second group of whyskey cordovan lovers shall gather and we will make small MTO after a time. I am interested for the future myself. But without picture .....

I don't believe there ever was a picture of the Ramsey in whiskey shell. What I remember seeing on the page was an image of the Ramsey in the brown calf leather and an image of another shoe in the whiskey shell so people would have an idea of what the material looked like.

I expect that once this current MTO has completed, we'll get some proper shots of the shoe in question.

That's exactly it - as far as I know they have never been made so this is a first in Whiskey Cordovan in Ramsey.

Once these have been delivered I am planning another MTO, so suggestions welcome!! It could be we do AS Ramsey in Cognac Cordovan next time or AS Hurst in Whiskey?

We only need 6 pairs minimum to order.

A wholecut in shell would definitely be interesting. It will alleviate all the creasing issues. I would vote for a darker shell (e.g., cigar or #8) just to make it more conservative looking.

Can't wait to get the Whiskey Ramsey!

Yes, I went to AFPoS website and saw what was meant by picture (another cordovan shoe with Ramsey shoe together).

Talking about new order. I would also choose cordovan definitely. I've read right now that it is taken from naturally died animals (I cryed when bought my first cordovan pair :-((. Now I will buy only cordovan I think)))))

I haven't seen any other colors than burgundy, black, whyskey.

Julian, can you give link to see all cordovan colors?

And secondly....can't we take AS HandGrade last to plan our new small MTO?)))) and have price as previous pair - 490

AS handgrade last and model I mean))))

Consider me customer #1 for a MTO AS Hurst in cognac cordovan.

Afraid not - AS Handgrade models and lasts are definitely reserved and looked after by Chay Cooper at Alfred Sargent. You can contact him about these using mto@alfred-sargent.co.uk

in that case - I am not interested. 700 pounds is too expensive for me.

Then I will take part in AS Exclusive MTO discussion
