Is GQ10NOVAT currently the best code to use for sale items (an extra 10% off) for SF members?

Yes, as the sale prices are very good, this will give you an extra 10%, but hurry sales end on Sunday!!

This company (AFPOS) is great to deal with. I had to return a pair that was a touch too small and they were wonderful to deal with. I just wish they had a half size up. I will definitely be buying from them in the future.

I missed the sale but still just grabbed the C&J Coniston with the extra 10% + Vat reduction. Can't wait to receive them!

+1 on the AS Hadleigh. Ordered them from AFOS and they're awesome. Unfortunately didn't fit my slightly wide feet too well...but you won't regret them!

We are starting to build our range of classics from Alfred Sargent.

If yo are looking for a no nonsense English Country shoe for proper hunting, fishing and country pursuits, then the AS Appleby is for you

Have always liked the Appleby, could not get them from my local shop before as I was told that Alfred Sargent no longer wanted to do that level of shoe so was surprised to see them. Maybe a change of heart or other ranges not doing as well as hoped! Anyway good to see them.

The leather used on the Appleby looks very similar to the old Tricker's "C" Shade Gorse Calf, which they now describe as "C Shade Tan" (see Tricker's website). I just wonder if exactly the same type of leather is being used by both Tricker's and AS? The AS is, of course, much cheaper than Tricker's. Good deal, or Tricker's are overpriced. I know that AS and Tricker's use the same leathers from time to time - the brown zug grain used by Tricker's, for example, was also a leather used by AS. It seems a little bit of a gamble.

It is the same leather, and the quality of the AS Appleby are fantastic. This will now be stocked all the time.

Any questions, just ask - very happy to talk over the options for you.
