Is it possible to order CS oxfords on the 160 and 187 lasts or this needs to be done as a GMTO? I only see model 8627 on your website.

Yes, we have 8627 Straight cap Oxford on the 187 last in Bosco patina in stock http://www.afinepairofshoes.co.uk/products/carlos-santos-oxford-in-bosco-patina?variant=206514342

or you can order any patina colour in this style

Carlos Santos offer fantastic quality and is a very capable company.

If you have something in mind, all ideas welcome and we can start formulating a plan.

I would be interested in a fully pebble grain field boot, like the original one at Skoak. Of course I don't want to step on their toes either and I'm a big fan of their store (although they told me via email that they have no plan to reorder but maaaaybe in the future, who knows, etc etc).

If we wanted to do something more different than that, how about this:

CS Jumper Boot

Brown or oak pebble grain

316 or 333 last ( I'd prefer the 333)

4 speedhooks, 4 exposed eyelets

Dainite sole

so kinda like this, but rounder last, pebble grain, etc. Similar to the Field boot but without the "galway" shaft detail (which is kind of overdone IMO). I think it would be awesome, esp. given the USD:pound right now.

Hopefully the end result would be something like this (C&J Coniston in hard-to-find brown), but for a fantastic price:

Let me know what you think! Happy to help solicit orders from the internet if there's interest here.

Oh, and also here's a reference for lasts (I think 333 is a clear choice for an all-around boot like this):

Yes, they have a very good range of suedes and grain/smooth leathers and we have a full set of samples. I will post a full set of pics tomorrow for you as reference.

Very helpful, thanks!

It looks like oak grain would be great for the GMTO I mentioned above, if anyone is interested ;)

Yes, should be with this coming Monday/Tuesday! Looks like a great product from what we have seen of it, comes in 75ml tins in Black or Neutral.

Also we are having the 100% Mink Oil in 75ml jars in to stock, great for very dry leathers to bring them back to life, without leaving a greasy residue.
