The Moores are more reddish-brown, they look a bit like Mahogany. I wear them with dark denim, works well but could do well with lighter colours too. I use Saphir's Mahogany on them...

Is that color appropriate for business wear or is it too poping?

Ie...paired with navy/charcoal trousers + light blue/white dress shirts.

Only stock styles for order, not including special/limited editions unfortunately.

Are you trying to get us to convince you or not convince you to buy a pair?

Thank you for the response

Haha more like a candid answer. Either way it's good. Just want to know whether cherry is dark enough for business wear

Bit the bullet and ordered a pair of Hannover boots. Been eying them for months and couldn't resist the sale. It rained today and I'm so sick of only having one pair of shoes to wear with rubber dainite soles. I'll be adding commandos in a few days. A full brogue boot in pebble grain might be too much for a suit, but I'm sure I could pull it off with flannel or donegal trousers. And, of course they will be my go to with jeans on a rainy weekend.

Very excited.

Guys, what happened to the all those AS lasted shoe trees you had in stock. I do not see anymore 109 and 724 lasted shoe trees available for sale.

I believe they sold out of some of them due to the massive demand from the promotion.

That really depends on you.  I work in a conservative environment where everybody who is in a suit invariably wears black shoes only.  I haven't seen the Moore in cherry in real life but I do have G&G's St James II in vintage cherry and I must admit they are my favourites.  Nobody raises an eyebrow or challenge me for my non-conformity when I wear them to work.

exactly my dilemma too; settled on the spencers.

already have a few browns in the rota; wouldn't mind a navy, and def wouldn't mind wholecuts.

But the moores are a sexy beast too :D

Yes, all gone, 4 to 6 weeks for restock.

Yes, our stocks have been mostly used up, but plenty more lasted trees on order with the arrival time to us 4-6weeks. When you place your order Sarah will give you 3 options, 1. to wait for the trees until the whole order is shipped, 2. to have the shoes shipped (once they are in) then pay a small extra postage charge when the trees come in to stock and 3. get a voucher code for lasted trees and use this when you want.
