What happened? Bad fit on that last or something stylistic that just doesn't do it for you?

I need 10UK. They are snug and may stretch, but don't want to keep and they don't. I will exchange, but trying to give someone a shot here 1st.

Usually Sarah nails the sizing. Sorry it didn't work out. Way too big for me or I might dive in. I'm a 7.5 or 8UK.

Thanks.

Me too, this ends up being a full price purchase, by the time you add the shoe tree price difference and return shipping.

Oh the pain when you realise that even Moore Cherry is on sale but you can't get it because you have just paid the tuition deposit for next year and is cleaned out for a while.... Someone better post pictures so i can live vicariously through you!

Pulled the trigger last night on those same pair of Herricks and lasted trees.  My first experience with both AS and AFPOS.  Can't wait!!!

I should have asked before purchasing, but if I am a 8.5 on Herring's 11028 and also Meermin's Olfe, then I assume I am 8.5 on the AS 109 as well?

I take the same size in 11028 and AS 109, so it is vey likely that you made a right call.

I do 1 full size down with the 109.

I assume you mean from your US size and not 1 full size down from the Herring 11028?

I don't think you can(assume). 109 runs a little bigger (spoken from experience), so it may turn out that you should've taken a half size smaller.

I took half size down from Olfe on the 109 and I have to return them. Of course, YMMV.

Half down from your US size? I'm surprised they are tight on you. Maybe because it's the cap toe style... Sorry it didn't work out G, today would have been a perfect day to rock them too!

I wear 10UK in Olfe and tried to do a 9.5UK in Herrick, both convert up a whole size to US 11 and 10.5, respectively.

I am a small US11, I comfortably wear the Olfe in 10UK, I have the Moore (9.5UK), Wilson (10UK) and a bunch of others. I go between 10UK (11US) and 9.5UK(10.5US). My larger toes are at the forepart pf the shoe and the ball of the foot doesn't seem to match up quite right.

Yeah, I can see how the UK9.5 might have been tight if you're a US11. With the 724, I can see how the UK9.5 could work because it does have a lot of room of the ball/toe area. Sorry G, hope you can move it and pick up the UK10. I could also probably go down 1.5 from my US size on the 724 but they don't regularly make UK5.5 smile.gif
