Haha very good question! I personally have found it very hard to pick up a reasonably sleek boot with closed lacing. Everything from the Trickers Stowe to bespoke boots seem to be derby style. I can't wear that to work! Price range... Personally I wouldn't want anything over about $600 - $800, but I suspect thats a bit low for anything other than Calf.

As previously stated, cognac(ish) shell cordo. wingtip boots, dainite soles, but no speedhooks.

I would love cordovan boots basically like the brown version of these or maybe PS Ricards, no speedhooks, dainite sole.

Echoing a request for whiskey/cognac cordovan boots - basically a substitute for Rider Boots which can be very hard to get a hold of in the UK (and for which sizing is unclear, at least to me)

The designs are progressing well after sitting down with Chay from Alfred Sargent this week. We have taken all your suggestions and are working on two boot designs and two shoe designs and then I will put these up for a vote - you can then place your orders on the winning designs and the boots and shoes will be made up for you as a limited edition.

We have looked into Shell Cordovan options, but have decided that these will work out more than your target of $600 - $800 already suggested, therefore we will probably leave Cordovan for the time being because we want more members to be able to participate.

As soon as I have more information, you will know about it.

Hi,

I quite like the idea of a 4-tie chukka boot in smooth cognac calf or cordovan (and/or oxblood cordovan). I have attached a pic of the boot in mind.
