AFPOS was shut down this whole time due to the exclusivity agreement between AS & Rider?

I thought you weren't able to sell a single line of shoes...

Not shut down, only asked to limited sales of AS Exclusives to inside EU.

All removed now and happy to continue where we left off, looking after great customers worldwide!

This is always a possibility, something like AS Blake is very nice.

We have a special edition of AS Ramsey in stock with only 10 pairs left in Snuff Suede with a black sole edge and Oak bark tanned soles - all closed channelled stitched.

Here are some pics:

AFPOS I have two questions.

I'm seriously considering getting a pair of your limited edition Copper Blue Monks. I understand the Ramseys come on the 99F Last. I currently have only one AS shoe so far and it is the Radwell on the 724F. With a medium weight sock the 10.5F UK is snug at the ball of the foot and toes of my larger foot. I understand the 99F to be a more narrow Last.

Would you recommend going to a 11F on the 99F as possibly being a good fit for me?

Would it be possible to get a Free Lasted Shoe Tree instead of the belt if I decided to get this shoe?

Cheers,

Dan

That would sell a lot of shoes, plus my trousers don't even have belt loops! happy.gif

can you swap out the contents of the shoe shine boxes for similar priced items on your site?

Hi Dan,

Really pleased you like your Radwells on the 724 last. You are correct regarding the 99 last being slightly slimmer than that of the 724, and yes taking an 11 should solve this.

We will match any reasonable offer, so yes free shoe trees not a problem for SF members. We do carry a small stock of AS lasted trees, but if out of stock we will order them and post when ready.

Very happy to help.

Yes for the Saphir box, just let us know on your order what you would like in place and we will work out the difference.

Equally there is an option to buy an empty Saphir box and add exactly what you need on top.

STOP-PRESS

AFPOS OFFERS FREE LASTED AS TREES for SF members with any full price AS shoe or boot orders (not including sale or clearance shoes and boots) - just add the correct lasted tree to your order then use the code "freetrees" in the payment screens and the cost will be removed for you. You can either have a free AS Belt using the code "free-belt" or AS Lasted trees.

We do carry a small stock of 99, 724 and 109 AS lasted trees, but if we run out of stock in your particular size or it is for another non stock AS last, we will order them for you and send on when they arrive (usually 4-8 weeks from time of ordering).

Thank you for the information and the kind offer for shoe trees.

I wear 0.5 up on the 99 (6.5F) compared to the 724 (6F). I find the 99 snug like the 106.

Thanks for the post, and actually I think it was one of your previous post which I based this off of initially. However I'm still certain as to whether I want to do this yet. Besides it would only be necessary for the one foot which is already a half size longer than my short foot.

Maybe surgery to remove some length and narrow my feet might be a better answer.eek.gif

Thin insole works well. If you want to be fancy (and I only did this once to try it out), I had Nick V. glue thin pieces of leather that he cut into "insoles" for a pair of boots that were just a hair too big. You might not need to do it with all your shoes but I'm sure it'll do the trick.

Hope all is well. Haven't been on as much since I've been busy but it's good to see AFPoS back getting business.

Thanks for the suggestion. Hope things slow down a bit for you soon so we have more of an opportunity to read your posts and gain more wisdom and knowledge. Take care.
