This has been asked before I'm sure but wanted some more timely feedback as I'm starting to see a bit more of it. I feel like the black/brown thing is more for dress clothes. Like if you're wearing a black suit, don't wear brown shoes. With black denim, I think you can wear whatever color shoes you want. I've seen plenty of stylish people rocking black jeans with brown leather shoes, including some cool ass Japanese kid on the train I saw wearing black Nudie jeans with brown Red Wings...
