Yeah, I mean if dude was all like, hey I have some thoughts about fashion, why don't you check out my tumblr IN THE POST YOUR TUMBLR thread, that would be fine. It's just obnoxious how he continuously posts it.

For some reason I can't read Urban Aesthetics without thinking Interior Semiotics, which ruins everything that much more.

And yet he and Dan are getting exposure and making money . . .

oh, well then that makes it all okay!

I have a hunch that this dude wants to have sexual relations with Dan Trepanier. His tumblr is cringeworthy.

Lolz. Wow. I appreciate the love that some of you guys have portrayed here, much love and respect to you guys. For the haters, it's all love. I can see why you gives might give my blog such harsh replies, but understand that I'm only getting better as I keep writing. Many of you same dudes that hate on my blog have no idea or any relation to what urban NYC fashion is about or what it even represents. Everyone's entitled to their own opinions and yes, I use my blog's URL as a tool for greater exposure to my blog. I'm sure you would too....

probably should be in your tagline, not in your posts. but i don't get all the hate myself. your stuff is no worse than a lot of the other stuff on here. do your own thing, and don't worry about anything else. BTW you say "effect" in your headline blurb which should be "affect" i think. pet quibble.

Google search algorithm with forum links, someone told me, counts every time a link appears in a unique post. A signature counts as one link location, however, therefore commanding less google bumpage. For those that weren't aware, google prioritizes search results based upon how many times a specific link is linked externally.

THAT SHIT IS STILL STUCK IN MY HEAD.

however.....its totally possible but doubtful that google's algorithm has been customized to intelligently distinguish between post content and signature.

which still wouldn't answer the question of why he doesn't take the path of less work to get the same result O.o

I thought a signature was queued from a distinct location each time a page was loaded, and isn't content of the page itself... I'm not suggesting it was designed this way, but it may be an artifact. A great way to test this would be to see whether or not old posts display a current signature (ie one distinct location, equating to one google 'hit'). I would do this but I just took melato--

I put the link to my site in my sig, where it belongs. I love how you discount any naysayers as people who just don't know about "what urban NYC fashion is about or what it even represents." Maybe it's just because your content sucks?

also he is a really shitty writer. that post he made up-thread is barely even english.

OK Folks. The link is my signature now. I am relatively new to this site and throughout this forum, I learned that I can do that. Relax. It's still not going to stop me from being around around offering people advise. That's what this Forum is ALL about. To learn from each other. Regardless I'm doing my thing and doing something positive for myself and its so refreshing to see people either defend me or completely trash my entire agenda of my blog. Its only words of encouragement to me...

you shouldn't be giving any advice whatsoever. Everything about you is just awful fashionista trash.
