Toronto GTA Food and Drink

Thread Starter
I will be going to Toronto and surrounding areas for a business trip tomorrow through Friday and figured I should ask for recommendations on where to grab a bite to eat, grab a drink, or even shop. I am staying in Mississauga but don't mind driving 30-40 minutes for something. Thanks!

Try Pasquale's in my neck of the woods: http://www.pasqualestrattoria.ca/ Or if you want to go downtown, you can try: http://www.duggansbrewery.com/ or my favourite pub in the city: http://www.rebelhouse.ca/ another great option in Liberty Village: http://www.libertybistro.ca/ (bear in mind the Jamison exit on the Gardiner Expressway is closed due the overpass rebuilding, get off at Lakeshore Rd. beforehand)

isn't there a whole thread on toronto restaurant recomendations/reviews? what's your general age and budget, ie are you a 20 something young professional going on the cheap and want a bar and fashion, or a 50 year old conservative guy looking for an upscale dinner and high class escort

Mississauga. Oh. Rogues in Sherwood Forest is Mississausage's only good restaurant. Good list, great specials. If you're too tired to trek downtown, a good alternative. For a drive, go to Le Select Bistro on Wellington, downtown. Awesome Parisian bistro with outstanding food and a brilliant list. For drinks, I was at the Distillery District last night. Great brew pubs, restaurants, all in one place. 55 Mill St, Toronto.
