Nashville

Heading to Nashville this weekend (Friday through Monday). Any restaurant recommendations or things I should definitely do/see with the girlfriend? We were thinking of going up to Mammoth cave one day for some hiking and such. Any ideas would be appreciated.

What sort of food, prices, etc. are you wanting?
There are lots of places with good live music (besides country), a life size Parthenon, museums, etc.

I think one night we'd be up for going to a nicer trendy restaurant (100-150 with wine). The other night, I would love to find a good local place that has some character or something more local to the area. The live music is something I am really excited about. Saturday, I'd like to find a good sports bar as I hope my team is still in the tourney and could watch them on the big screen. Thanks!

If you go downtown to second avenue, you'll find a few that should meet all your needs. They had a horrible flood there about a year ago and I'm not sure which places are still under repairs.

dammit! How did I miss this thread?! wouldve loved to show you around. 2nd ave is where most of my whoring took place...personally, id avoided most of it.

But let us know how it turned out....where ya went, etc...
