What size to get Lowndes in?

I'm to get a pair of these Shipton Lowndes monks which are also made by C&J. I emailed them and they said a UK 6.5 (didn't mention width) would be best for me. I wear a 7D in the Alden Hampton last and a UK 6F (their only width) in a pair of Loake chukka boots on the 026 last. Would a 6.5 be right for the Lowndes (I assume it's still the 348 last)? Thanks.

I normally go down a full size from my standard "US" size for C&J on the 348 and 337, and still find them a bit roomy. For reference... 9F or 9.5E for TG 73 in G&G, US 10D for AE's, 9E UK for C&J, 9.5 / 10 E EG on the 82, 202, and 606, Standard 9 in Carmina on the Inca, etc.

You are a 9E UK in C&J but a 9.5/10 in EG? Im the same EG size, but a 8.5 in C&J.

Interesting. 9.5/10E though, not D. I am a 10/10.5D.

Email a C&J store with your foot measurements and ask them to estimate with their Brannock device.

I am a full size down in both the 348 and 337. I have a pair of 348 that are only 1/2 size down and they still fit, but are a bit looser than I like. Suggest you size down a full size.

I use size 7 UK in Loake, and my C&J Lowndes in size 7 UK are so tight that I need to sell them. It's because the last is rather narrow.
