I can vouch for the amazing quality of the Vass Austerity brogues - I have or have had 3 different ones, several on the u-last and one on F and they're great. I don't wear suits (i'm in academia) and so don't wear black shoes but if i did, i'd snipe these. Perfect fit for a us 10 D to slightly narrow width. Edit: Also, the F-Last is one of the most elegant and versatile lasts in the RTW market; it is round toed but sleek, though not-overly effeminate like the (IMO) u-last.
