MotoGP 2011 Le Mans

I'm planning on attending the 2011 MotoGP at Le Mans, the weekend of May 14-15. I'll be at a conference in The Hague the week prior and am thinking of flying to Paris then train to Le Mans, or maybe fly to Le Mans if there are flights. Anyone else planning to attend?

Based on the map and online info, it looks like the track isn't far from the city. Is staying in town and taking a taxi out to the track on raceday a good idea?

Any suggestions are welcome and appreciated.

Sounds like a blast. I've never attended a moto gp race or Le Mans but have done some travelling for F1 races. Good luck. Do some web searching about logistics for the Le Mans 24 hour race there should be tons available.
