I love the JL2010 better than other JL buckles. Chapel is the 2nd one I love, but a little weird while seeing it from the top. And I have already bought one last week. Waiting for the delivery now.

Somehow I think Ascot Shoes is full of crap. According to Leathersoul, GJ Cleverley bespoke alligator start off at $5750.

But maybe if we send Foo in to order them in green he can get a better deal?

JL Monk Strap shoe care question: I have the "William" in Buffalo Tan and in Black. Both shoes have a delicate pebblegrain quality to the leather. When I polish them with leather conditioner, it seems that the leather becomes smoother and smoother thus reducing the pebblegraininess. I want to maintain the pebblegrain texture. Any suggestions on which product and/or shoe care method to use?

This pair of bespoke (made to measure) double strap monk leather shoes from John Lobb's Mogador collection is estimated to cost around 4,000 euros.

From here.
