Upper leather: this is a normal calf (as it is a prototype), but the final product will be made from French boxcalf. insole: high quality German insole leather, tanned specially for sewn insoles. Breathable, healthy (I have a whole page with all of this data) lining: high quality (also comes with a long certificate about the chemistry stuff) Stiffeners: JR (veg tanned certainly), and veg tanned lining - glue is paste - breathing also. welt: JR Sole, heel: JR (veg tanned - there is nothing else from them) Construction: English welt (similar to good year construction, but sewn for the insole, not the ribbon glued to there) from ball to ball, german welt at the shanks, and practically pegged around the heel.
