lol why do you need something that reflects confidence if you lack it? totally odd thing to say. If you have a 'confident' haircut but arent confident it wont make up for that fact.

This. Telling (or better - showing pictures to ) your stylist is not pathetic - he/she will appreciate it. Seriously. Put pictures on your iPhone/etc and show it to the stylist. You'll be glad you did. OP, Google pics of Rob Morrow.
