The frescos are no doubt cheaper but I did have a look at some Cape Kid at The Armoury a while back. Gorgeous stuff. (Harrison's Cape Kid, from memory it was 60% Mohair and 40% Wool) and had only a slight sheen. The chap in the shop told me that the mohair worked like linen and that is, it absorbs and releases moisture,which makes it more comfortable than wool in hot weather. It also resists wrinkles
better than wool. That being said, HK from Mid May onwards is not suit wearing territory for me.
