Up for sale is my pair of Alden cap toe boots in shell cordovan #8 with speed laces (Model 4060M, which I believe is on the Grant last). These were made by Alden for Eduard Meier of Munich http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ed_Meierhttp://www.edmeier.dehttp://thesartorialist.blogspot.com/...h-germany.html. They have a phenomenal chocolate brown patina. Soles have plenty of wear left in them. Please note that there are a few lace holes where the color has chipped away in spots. Also, for those who have asked about the sizing, I believe these are pretty TTS. I wear an 8.5 D in the barrie last and 9 D in just about everything else. I bought these 9.5s simply b/c I fell in love with the shoes and couldn't find them in a 9. Thought I could throw an insole in the shoe to makeup the .5 difference. Thanks again.
