With the talk about Rye in the Scotch thread, I stopped on the way home today and bought a bottle of Old Overholt and some Angosta Bitters (I already had sweet vermouth, I have no idea why) and I'm drinking a Manhattan. With a few ice cubes because global warming has come to Southern California. Hold the cherry.
We had a Pride Mountain Merlot, 2005 for dinner tonight. If you can find a retailer that got a Pride allocation, I highly recommend it. Edit: I forgot, for some reason, I felt I should toast Conn with the "Pride".
