Working on finishing this bottle of Knob tonight.

What bourbon should I buy tomorrow? Is Knob the best deal in terms of price/quality ratio?

Knob or Bulleit. I thnk Bulleit is a little spicier, and I like its flavor a lot.

Bulleit is great. Maybe I should get that. What does a 750ml of Bulleit cost?

Last night: a finger of Black Label before the bar, 2 beers and a pound of wings at the bar, and another finger of the Black afterwards.

I think I paid around $35. It's good, though. If you like Bulleit, give Bernheim Wheat Whiskey a try too (about the same price).

last nite at The Edison in downtown LA....thurs nite is martini special from 5-7, 1930 martini at 1930 price of 35¢. They actually changed the martini to a mojito type 'tini that was PHENOMENAL!!

the bar itself is probably the coolest decorated place in LA

and it would appeal to SFers since they have a dresscode and over half the guys there last nite were wearing suits (youngish professional crowd, late 20s-mid 30s), but that's to be expected I guess since many come straight after work

I've heard about the 35 cent special, but whenever I go, it's not available. Edison is definitely one of the best bars in so. Cal (yes that includes Hollywood, West LA, OC, SD). I prefer going there on the weekdays as the weekends get kind of busy.

Plus tonic and lime. I had a rough day so I'm going to get pretty slammed and rock out.
