You prefer that on the rocks or straight up?

I find it's best enjoyed with a dash of tepid water and sipped from a yahtzee shaker.

Sierra Nevada Bigfoot barleywine, vintage 2006

It's amazing how much this beer has changed since I bought it feb 2006. The floral hop notes are much stronger. There is a pronounced nutty flavour, and smooth finish. None of which existed even this past summer.

Château Grand Corbin Despagnes 1975 !luc

Finished off an entire bottle of Goats do Roam in Villages Red 2004.

Though I've never posted in this thread, I'm usually drinking when I post here as being intoxicated allows me to feel comfortable seemingly wasting my time being on an internet message board. And staring at the water spot on my ceiling for long periods of time, apparently.

A gloriously cold glass of Sprite.

Evans & Tate 2001 Margaret River Cab Shiraz Merlot. Slipped gorgeously around a roast brisket of corned beef marinaded in red wine and garlic. Not at all bad with the chocolate Easter eggs either.

Shiraz, expecially a dry one with a bit of tannin (probably provided courtesy the Merlot) is a real good friend of chocolate, isn't it? Regards, Huntsman

I'd agree with you there Hunstman. I remember drinking a 79 Grange Hermitage with chocolate, and it worked brilliantly. Big surprise at the time, but I've found quite a few of them can be drunk with a rich chocolatey dessert.

Too much wine last night, and more to come tonight ...

What type of chocolate do you drink with it? 75%?
