A can of worms.

Nah, not really. But I bought some Martini Dry and Monkey 47. Lost an arm and a leg in the process.

It's that time of year; I need to make a round of the Good Will shops and look for some vintage cocktail glasses. The bartender at my foie gras poutine place just scored 10 really nice matching vintage cordial glasses. I'm jealous. shog[1].gif

It's a really nice version with duck demi, shredded confit, and duck skin cracklings with really good house made fries. Hard to beat.

I just look for things that appeal to me. Don't expect sets, I mean I'll pick up just a single glass sometimes. It's also cool to see just how huge our glasses are these days and how small a classic glass is. Here's a random pic I just found of the very first one I picked up:

Drinking this, which Pio recommended a while back. Really good. Not aggressively spicy, but with a real nice vegetal, almost piney finish.

Glad you're enjoying it. Really quite nice, isn't it?

Royal connection.

Gin, violet liqueur, egg white, sours and lavender tincture splashed on the top (can be replaced by ang bitters).

I gave up booze for September so have had nothing to contribute recently, however, I just finished celebrating my brother's first child with some VEP Chartreuse, and then a tasting of El Dorado 15 vs. El Dorado 15 aged in sauternes casks.
