Basin Street- 2 parts Knob Creek bourbon, 1 pt Cointreau, 1 part fresh lemon juice, rocks, garnished w/ a lemon slice. Among friends I simply refer to it as "Lemonade". Pretty damn tasty.

When I make "Lemonaide", it's a whiskey sour in an old fashioned glass topped with soda.

The Basin Street sounds pretty good! I might just have to try that.

Tonight I'm watching a DVD with my wife and enjoying a glass of Volver 2007. Great wine for the price. My wife and I have been trying to push ourselves to try wines we wouldn't normally consider, and this one was rated very highly. I'd definitely buy it again.

Tonight...

1 x Orval
3 x Stone IPA
3 x Balvenie Doublewood

I alternated between Balvenies and Stones.

A nice buzz without any real intoxication, these were drank over 3-4 hours. I am now relaxed and ready for bed, and happy that every ounce of alcohol I consumed tonight tasted excellent.

Korea is probably like Japan where that sort of thing isn't really regulated (selling anything in a 70cl in the states is illegal). Could be a good thing... saw several bottlings we can't get stateside last year at Hasegawa Honten in the Tokyo Station as well as at several whisky bars.

Some seriously good stuff. Up there with the Stone IPAs, though not as much hops bitterness. There's a little citrus tickle on the tongue

Saw that tonight, but went for the Denogginizer instead. Would you buy again? Denogginizer is just so so good...

Yeah, I'd give it another go. It is pretty good and a kind of beer you could get a lot of mileage out of.

How is the Denogginizer? I'll have to look for that

The Old Malt Cask bottling of Royal Lochnagar. Such a good whisky. It's one of my favorites. ~ H

I drinking tomato soup right now. Tomato has so many health benefits. IT is my one of the favorite soup. Tomato is a good blood purifier. Vitamin K in tomatoes helps to prevent hemorrhages.

Some gin & tonics, almost out of Hendrick's gin, so soon I gotta move onto Bombay.

Then I'll finish the night with a J slipper
