The brand ambassador for the Art in the Age portfolio was mixing a few drinks last night. Then we drank with the fernet branca chick for Boston. Goin to a Hendrick's gin event tomorrow.

Bhowie, can you elaborate on any of the drinks the Art in the Age person made? I'm a big fan of their products, but I tend to drink them straight and haven't yet explored cocktails with their stuff.

heading to Costco shortly to pick up case of the Saranac/Kirkland beer for $19.99. A relative steal at Costco for some good quality "micro" brewed beer, although I question anything that is sold by Costco as "micro"

check the bottle volume.. I bought a pack of Belgian sampler at Costco with Hoegaarden, Leffe, Stella and thought it was cool and a pretty good deal until I got home and put them in the fridge... each bottle was 11.2 oz... wtf?

All belgian beers (afaik) are 11.2. Its exactly 1/3 of a liter. Well, noy exactly bc 330mL x3 = 990mL

What''s the US stanard? 500ml (16.66 or something oz)?

Bordeaux, Cuba Libre.
Typical bottles here are 12, cans are 12 or 16 (a pint).
Oh, right, I remember the US soda cans that are 355 ml.

Typical bottles around here are 330 ml or 500 ml. Same goes for cans.

You think you're better than us?
Given that 500 ml > 16 oz, and we all know that more is better, I do indeed think so!

New Belgium Pumpkick. Pretty good if you like Pumpkin Ales. On the sweeter side, but well balanced. And you can actually taste the pumpkin and spices without them being too strong.

Oh, and it's 12 oz. Which is 355 mL. And last time I checked, that's larger than 330mL/11.2 oz, and therefore better.
