It's called Drink on the Waterfront.

Amazing bartenders (mixologists?).

Don't go to Drink.

I don't frequent bars / lounges nearly as much as Bhowie does, so he knows better places.

I still thought it was a cool place and I really enjoyed the drinks.

YMMV.

Where do you recommend we check out, Bhowie?

Yes, sir.

Alright, so I reccomend that you don't go to drink. I assume you'll be with the wife. It is a great cocktail bar. In fact it is technically the best cocktail bar in America. That said it isn't the best bar. Am I also correct in assuming you like drinking whiskeys neat? If so there are way better places you should check out. I have a few beefs with drink. 1.) those mother fuckers are boring and have 0 personality. 2.) You can't really bar hop there 3.) Access to public transportation isn't that hot. I don't think you are a cocktail geek, right? Go to Saloon in Slumberville. One of the best whiskey bars in the country. Plus there is a shitload of other stuff around there.

My three main areas to drink are Central Square, Harvard Square, and Kenmore. Each has at least one really solid place to eat, one solid cocktail nerd bar, and a few other mediocre cocktail bars, plus other forms of entertainment. I will warn you I am more partial to Cambridge than Boston. i think there is a more exciting mix on that side of the river.

Aviation cocktail. Well, minus the creme de violette. Aint got time for that noise.

Even minus that, great cocktail. The gin and the Luxardo really play off each other very well.

Started off with a taste of my 28 year old sherry cask aged Bunnahabhain and now a triple portion of three months in the cask Wiser's manhattan with Bittercube cherry bark and vanilla bitters. This is just smooth heaven.

I really need to try cask aging some Manhattans.

Wait, scratch that. Wife would murder me.

That's a shame. My wife encourages my barcraft. She's a light drinker but knows how much I enjoy it and will take the occasional sip.

Honestly it's a space issue for us more than anything. If we lived somewhere larger than 700 sq ft, she wouldn't have a problem with it. As it is though, I literally can't think of a place to put something like that other than on the floor.

I already get grief for taking up all the closets.
