Armagnac? It is a grape spirit, very much like a brandy or cognac, except it is column distilled, then (typically) blended and aged. Typically, an Armagnac has a much more vibrant nose than say, a cognac, and some say it is rougher on the palate. It is a little more...artisanal? than its sister spirit, or at least more than its sister spirit commonly is. I prefer Armagnac to Cognac.

Hors d'age, indicates that the youngest spirit in the blend is at least 10 yrs of age.

Thanks for the description, it is the first time I've had it. The nose is definitely vibrant. I only had a 50mL bottle, I would try again.

Unfortunately it doesn't give an age on the bottle, it's just "small batch reserve." It was okay, I probably won't buy it again, I'd rather try one of their older vintages

Nice! Yeah, I think the "forgetting" part is what makes them so good, because by the time you remember you had them, they're really good.

Dark and Stormy right now, Cpt Morgan overproof and Canada dry, nothing too special. Nice mix though.
