Yep, the laid back booths nature of the booths so it's "private" for you and your company is a nice touch. It's not loud or bordering on rowdy, like Rickhouse, so you can sit and enjoy a solid cocktail. The service is also great.

Umm, yeah, it does. That would be me. <ducking> I'm not a bigtimer like Pio, but my Margarita is: 1.5oz decent silver tequila ( I use Tres Generacions) 1 oz. Cointreau 1/2 oz lime juice Shake. Strain. Serve.

Thanks, Hunts. Been so long since I made one but knew I was forgetting something. Orange liqueur of some kind is needed. I use 1 oz to 3 oz tequila.

Great Divide Hercules Double IPA

This is a good one folks.

Yesterday I was drinking one of my favourites, Rodenbach Grand Cru... I just can't get enough of it.

They give you a password, and you go to the door, use the door knocker, they ask for the password, and let you in. Once inside, you're seated, you can move to the secret back library too, and then you order drinks. They ask you don't use your cell phone, take photos, request a Cosmo, or be too noisy or rowdy.

Drinking a Hitachino White Ale tonight.

Good call on the Hitachino. I a big fan of the Ginger Brew and the XH.

I just had a little Glenfarclas 25 tonight. I like the 17, 21 and 105 more I think.

A friend has a bottle of the XH for me, so I skipped on picking it up, sticking with the White Ale and the Red Rice Ale. He also recommended their stout to me, but I couldn't find that.

The stout was fine, but not that memorable. I like the Rice Ale too, but the XH has more depth I think.

Yeah, enjoyed the White Ale much more than the Rice Ale... will have to hurry up and get my XH from my friend before he disappears for the long weekend.
