Day before Canadian Club 12 year. Yesterday Jameson.. Today Chivas 12 year. I figure I need to do something different about my life yeah. About 5x each instance to accompany a meal. I'm satisfied.

I've probably drank a little more than I should have. Came back from our first round of golf. Poured a big G&T (huge tumbler, about 6 oz Hendricks, top off with tonic). Split a bottle of wine with Mrs. Piob. Two more G&T like the first and now, my version of crossing a Cyrus manhattan with a Tango manhattan:

2 oz Cyrus treated bourbon (took 10 year Eagle Rare and steeped with vanilla pod and orange rind)

1 oz Vya sweet

.25 Marascino liqueur

1 eye dropper Tango bitters

Yum.

Beer was good. Tasted like coffee and was smooth. It felt like it didnt have any extra gas pumped into the beer. Im not much of a beer drinker (saw that it won an award, sampled some at a food and beverage exhibition and was curious) but I had 4 different types of beer that day. All of them really good. If interested, I can post pics of the others I had.

Bought 3 different types in bottles for father's day.

Awwww...crap! I was thinking to go to that event but forgot about it. If you get a craving for Minoh Beer...check out Q-Brick...a great Osaka beer bar.... http://osaka.townclip.com/shop/qbrick

Just had a bottle (the "petit") of La Chouffe and now I'm having a glass of Delirium Nocturnum with some cheap (but surprisingly good) frozen pizza.

Really enjoyed the La Chouffe. Great body, nice deep color, carbonation was nice (but not too much) and the spice flavors came through really well.
