What are you drinking right now? - Page 806

I made myself a mojito, which was going great until I realized that I don't actually have any seltzer. It still tastes reasonably good, but it's just not the same with plain old water.

Oh, there have been numerous occasions where I've had great mint (yes, great... I've recently purchased some mint that was terrifying) and thought: "Great, I'm gonna make myself a Mojito right now", until I realized that in fact I've had no seltzer around. Haven't tried it with plain water yet.

This was done to the point of, "okay, and now I need to add seltzer", before noticing the complete absence thereof. At that point, I didn't have much choice, and I wouldn't really recommend using plain water by choice.

Drinking Aperol spritzes by the pint glass leads to no good

Just bought some mixing tools to celebrate the beginning of spring/summer - first drink: dry manhattan with alberta premium 100% rye (sweet vermouth went bad...)

fan-freaking-tastic, but now I'm out of ice.  Dalmor 12 it is.

Nice Ben Nevis CS IB getting 84/100 from me.

No itroduction is really needed to Ardbegs from 70s :D 90/100

Laphroaig OMC - very complex on the nose and not so much on the tongue 83/100

Amazing old bottle of GlenLivet 15 yo IB by GMP 85/100

Some new Macallans no age statement. Got them from Brown Forman recently and haven't tried them yet. I have them at work today and I am quite tempted to check'em out :D

Some French cider I had the other day. Quite dry and yeasty but I like it like that ... much more than smooth and too sweet.
