Having a dram of Duncan Taylor, distilled in 1996, thanks to a certain member here.

Yesterday was international macarons day, so I made a "Macarons Pompette".

3 oz. cream soda
2 oz. Black Maple Hill Bourbon
1 oz. St. Germain
Garnish with orange peel

I add 2 oz club soda as it was sweet for my tastes. Was sweet and reminiscent of its name sake.

Grazie,

1.5 oz tequilia blanca. I like one with a "bite" to it and not too smooth
2 tsp of raw Agave syrup. Add more if your limes are a bit bitter. (you can find this near the honey in many grocery stores)
1 oz fresh squeezed lime juice

Shake and then serve over ice.

Missing Japan, have a cold, have a paper due, worst semester ever, bar applications due, work is going to suck tomorrow, thinking that Pennicillin is the best possible cocktail for the moment:

LEAD Technologies Inc. V1.01

Made the 'cheap' version though, since I'm sick -- Cutty Sark with JW Black as the float (usually I go Nadurra with Caol Ila Distillers' for the float, which is really inspired).

I literally have organized my bar in a way that allows for Galliano and the Luxardo -- a few full length shelves, and some staggered half-shelves so that there is a gap where those two can go. PITA.

I had to switch to handles of all of my well spirits -- for one thing, it gets them off the main bar and gives me more room. I have more styles of gin in my well than anything else -- Beefeater for general use, like you, and also Hendrick's and Sapphire. Just finished the well the other day, in fact -- the bar is on a wall that a door opens up onto, so there are half-deep shelves behind the door that accomodatees the well:

Have Christian Bros and Courvoisier VS as my well brandy and Cognac; then Johnnie Black and Cutty Sark for scotch, Southern Comfort, Woodford as the well bourbon (prefer it since it is mashed with rye and wheat), Smirnoff Red for the Vodka, and the aforementioned three gins. There is a lower shelf for empty bottles that need restock, sorry to say it is full.

Stone Brewing Enjoy By 4.1.13. Stone never disappoints me. I wish I had bought more bottles of this.
