Dark & Stormy. Lots of them lately, actually. Also had one at "The Boilerman Bar", Jörg Meyer's (Le Lion) newest endeavour. The only serve highballs. Classic highballs but also classic cocktails served as highballs. Setting is decent. I had a Dark & Stormy. Tasted fine but I think I prefer Gosling's, which they didn't use nor have in stock, over OVD rum. Overall I don't see the need for a bar like that. Prices are premium (6-7€ for a smallish highball). I'd much rather go to Le Lion for a much more intense experience, and more liquor for 13€ or so.

Your Mortlach looked really great (not that I can tell anything from how it looked) -- Mortlach is my favorite whisky, and very hard to get in the States. Supply does not seem to be a problem for you in Poland though!

We had the Mortlach at a meeting of whisky lovers. I'd guess that the bottle comes from Germany, Holland or Belgium - it is not an easy thing to get in Poland either.

My new Finlandia Platinum vodka. I think that for the moment it is only available in Poland, Russia and the US (and maybe also duty free?). I must say that it doesn't happen too often that Poland gets something before other countries do so I am quite happy :)

Rusty Nail yesterday with Famous Grouse. I remember it to be much better with JW Black.

Lots of ginger tea at the moment, some white wine (Riesling/Pinot gris blend) when I'm done with my paper for today.

Can you get the Smirnoff Copper Pot Still in Poland? That was my favorite vodka, distributed in the US for only a short time.

Yeah, Black adds a lot to a Rusty Nail -- that is my standard.

It's widely available in Germany for 17-20€/liter.
I find the taste to be a little weird, but I'm no vodka guy anyway. How would you describe it?

I'm surprised it is available in liter bottles.

I don't know how to describe it; I haven't had any in a decade.
