Made a drink for my gf I've taken to calling a Rose's Kiss.

2oz gin (citadelle)
1oz lemon juice
.75oz rosolio
Dash Fee Bros. peach bitters

My father's standard cocktail right there. Also nice sometimes with a wedge of lemon.

Got a Glenmorangie Nectar d'or on the road to my door, it got awesome reviews and I enjoy their 12 yr

Kindly report back with your impressions. I'm halfway through a bottle of Artein and am enjoying it, picked it over the Nectar but I'm curious.

This is very good stuff. Not surprisingly, smooth with sweet wine notes.

It is quite nice, but I find it to be almost a summer scotch, as opposed to a winter scotch. It is light, has fruit and floral notes from the Sauternes cask, and doesn't have any of the typical heavier peat or smokey notes.

I'm working my way through a bottle of Aberlour A'bunadh amongst a few other scotches and this is quite enjoyable, but it has encouraged me to get the Glenmorangie for a much different taste. Glad to hear you guys are enjoying it, I will certainly report back.

This a perfect storm for drinking!

It's getting cold in Poland and this just seems a perfect dram for long evenings! Not too volatile on the nose but very sherry with floral and earthy notes. On the tongue it's very coating with a nutty finish, which is a bit on the bitter side, quite spicy but balanced. The finish goes on and on :D

 

Other whisky I've drunk recently and I can highly recommend is Clynelish 27 yo (IB) I've absolutely fallen in love with it! Crazy stuff!

 

 

... and today I had Tullamore Dew with Coke :P

 

 

Sounds nothing short of spectacular!

Never seen anyone that excited by Tullamore Dew and Coke.
