Yeah, too tired to fuck around with my new mixing glass. You're living the life, bro, you're living the life. You have no idea. And I'll be trundling off at 5:30am with last work obligation finishing around 7pm...FML.

ooof. shit, at that point I'd just be dumping bottles straight into the blender.

I've been trying them for the past couple of years. Most have been forgettable, especially once you factor in the prices they command. I haven't given up yet though!

Having some of my cask conditioned manhattan. Damn but this is good. Complex, multilayered, smooth. Vanilla from the oak char, some pepper, the ingredient all well integrated.

You guys really have to get a cask and try this. If you shop the net you can get a 1-3 litre cash for $50-90 dollar delivered.

You can also buy an "age your own" from these guys. Report back on the bourbon. http://www.woodinvillewhiskeyco.com/products/the-microbarreled-collection/

Have 2, one to drink from and one to age and test. Cherries too.

Last night made an old fashioned with rum rather than Whiskey, which was okay, but it's better than Bourbon. Tonight, a continental with some orange bitters, which I think added something good, and another, yet to be determined, something. Probably just going to be a pour of something.
