I have a Samuel Smith gift pack to polish off tonight. A pint each of oatmeal stout, pale ale and nut brown ale. I have the biggest craving for fish 'n chips and mushy peas right now.

Stopped at a liquor store on martin luther king drive, on the way back from thrifting. had to get this. haven't opened it yet, but have a feeling it will taste like bear.

Never heard of Big Bear. Which MLK? "If a friend calls you on the telephone and says they're lost on Martin Luther King Boulevard and they want to know what they should do, the best response is 'Run!'" Followed by: “I don’t care where you live in America, if you’re on Martin Luther King Boulevard, there’s some violence going on.” Gotta love Chris Rock.

UPDATE:

The Big Bear was not good. It did the job, though. The Mickey's 40 was much better. Glad I picked that one up as well. I like sampling different varieties, and had to spring for the Big Bear. It was a learning experience.
