I like the console but would have dovetailed it.

It can be a bit OTT if you show it off with a different stain or something (see below), but most people wouldn't know the difference anyway.

Anywho next projects are coming up:

Building a walnut bed at the moment and designing a walnut shoe-armoire. The bed is fun, but again for my GF. The armoire is her gift to me for all of the work i'm doing pro-bono, she's supplying me the parts/materials for me to built it. I plan to build storage for 20-30 shoes, 50 ties laid flat side by side, 50+ pr of boxers, 100+ pr of socks, ect. Large doors covering 3 shelves and 3 drawers 48" wide and 6' tall. Should be fun and will help me eliminate 2 pieces of furniture I dont like in favor of 1 piece that i do.

Sounds like a cool project. Hope you post pictures of it when you finish.

Not a bad idea Z, I might do that on future ones.

LR, I'll definitely post up some pics when it's all said and done.

Nice work - you have inspired me to get my home shop organized and start this rewarding hobby up again - I recently moved and just had electrician here to supply power to my garage so I could powered up the tools - BPT millers are great ! glad to know I'm not the only one working wood with them. Good luck with new projects, I'll be trying for the next month or so just to make the room in garage

Herbert, thanks. I build this stuff in my home shop, I've got tons of tools mostly metal working stuff, but I'm adding wood working to the mix. So far I've been using my Bridgeport milling machine as a router table. haha.
