STOP RUNNING

Seriously.

That little twinge is a symptom of a very serious injury that will take years to heal properly. If you do so, you may resume exercise in 2015 or so.

If not, prepare yourself for a life of knee pain. You'll never be able to run again if you ignore it and continue exercising.

AGREED. Unless you actually enjoy running, it's probably recommended that you engage in other activities that provide the same health benefit. Elliptical maybe? Great for cardio, even better for your knees.

If that's too girly for you, circuit-training style HIIT would work just as well ala crossfit-esque workouts.
