Sorry for the bad quality photos, I didn't have so much time for them: the customer was practically at the door...

Is the interior lined with tiger labia?

That's not too cool.

I have a pair of elephant skin cowboy boots that I bought probably 30 years ago. Sadly, my feet have kept growing and they no longer fit me.

Why? - I assume Marcel obtained the elephant hide legally under international law (forget what its called - CITES or something).

What's your size?

I can think of no better purpose in life for a cow to end up as a pair of shoes. Horses ar OK too (there are too many in Nevada). However, I really am opposed to lizard and many of the other exotic skin shoes. The elephant may have come from a two-bit shithole like Zimbabwa (formally the great country of Rhodesia), and lizard is probably tegu or monitor captured with no though to the impact on the lizard populations.

Not sure I'm feeling this as a wholecut. It would probably work as a chucka of sorts. Perhaps with a crepe sole. Excellent workmanship (as ever) anyhow. @PTWilliams: couldn't the skin have come from a country where elephants are routinely used as beasts of burden?

Yes, cows and horses serve no useful purpose, unlike lizards

Also, nice bit about "Rhodesia"

Yes, in that case I have no problem with it.

Aside from human skin, I can't think of a single leather that would make me less comfortable than elephant.
