I remember reading that he was very sick, but that was a while ago. RIP, I'll have to pour one out for my dead homie.

I'm certain many of us probably listened to at least one Nate-featuring song in the past week. For me, it was 'Regulate', naturally. A great shame

I always loved that ESPN's Bill Simmons a.k.a The Sports Guy referred to Bob Horry as the NBA's Nate Dogg. Was never going to be a star, but always played on winning teams.

His work with Warren G was great, loved the Dogg Pound Gangsters album, and he even makes some nice appearances on Snoop Dogg's Doggystyle.

Ain't no fun if the homies can't listen to Nate. What a shame.

He had a heart attack and a stroke a few years back, and had half his body paralayzed. Im guessing his death has to do with another attack or stroke. RIP

"little ghetto boy" was the first time I heard him, great voice.

Are you sure that was him?

EDIT: Wikipedia says it was. I always thought the hook came from the Donnie Hathaway sample.

RIP. I've been re-visiting a lot of g-funk recently and I've been pleasantly surprised how well it holds up. Would certainly not have been the same without him.
