Donald Trump Roast

Anyone catch this? That slob from the Jersey Shore was pretty pathetic.

I read that he told a joke about snoop dogg's ancestors being 'property', and it was cut from the broadcast. Easily the biggest comedy fail I've ever seen.

I heard he completely bombed a few days ago, as a matter of fact they used it as a selling point. I always thought people who weren't comedians would hire comedians to write stuff for them.

The roast was great; some awesome jokes and clever insults. And then there was The Sitch. He was HORRIBLE; heard crickets, was booed and made a total fool of himself. Snoop was awesome, and the guy who replaced Giraldo was great as well.

I don't get why they even invited him...it should be comics only up there. Jeff Ross is the best though.

Jeff Ross is the best though.

I hate the Ross has relegated himself to doing this shit because he is talented. he is good at this stuff (anyone see his jason williams jokes at an Emmit Smith roast). Greg G. was good at this because he pulled no punches. Was gilbert gottfried there, he is good at these things also? After his japan jokes, he is probably persona non grata at most places. At the Hasselhoff/Hogan roast, there was this skinny chick with black hair that ripped everyone a new one, anyone know who she is? not silverman.

meh, I thought this one seemed much more tame then the other ones. Very few jokes about his family, wealth, hair, etc. All in reasonably good taste and such. meh, still funny but not what I was expecting.

A lot of stuff was probably off limits. This usually happens with bigger "stars". I could only imagine a Tom Cruise roast.

I swear to God the Situation was so bad I got uncomfortable and I could barely watch him. What an idiot. There were some good jokes, but Greg Giraldo is sorely missed.

You know, I thought I was the only person who does this but a friend of mine also does it so I don't feel as weird. Sometimes someone does something so bad on television that I actually turn the channel because I feel so embarrassed for them. My friend and I call it "the embarrassment turn".

Thats hilarious. I do that a lot watching the Office. I can hardly stand that show anymore, Michael is so painful to watch when he is around Holly.

There are times I catch myself doing it. It's just too painful to watch.

I was going to say exactly that! after the first joke (and he called Seth Jeff) I changed the channel to What Not To Wear, seriously it was that bad.

I've never seen a Ross standup so I don't know what he's like when he's not ripping on people. He had an awesome Gary Coleman joke yesterday...saying he died from multiple aneurysms...you know..different strokes.

Gottfried came out from backstage to do a little piece.

You're talking about Whitney Cummings.

From what I've seen of his standup it's not that memorable, though he did have a clever piece with an auidence plant. Still Ross's insult stuff alone probably ranks him in my top ten contemporary comics.
