My money's on Batman. Actually, it's on The Scoutmaster ("Don't be afraid to use your nails, boys!").

Not on Tallulah Bankhead as the louche, lush, and slurred Black Widow?

Looking back, I am pretty amazed at the calibre of actor the campy, cheesy 60s Batman series got for its "Special Guest Villains", from Eartha Kitt (Catwoman) to Otto Preminger, George Saunders and Eli Wallach (Mr Freeze), through Art Carney, Cesar Romero, Frank Gorshin, Burgess Meredith and, indeed, Tallulah Bankhead.

LabelKing, however, I see you as the Scoutmaster.

I thought the cardinal rule of "vs" questions was "Batman always wins"? I love me some Bond, but let's face it: the only way he wins is if Batman is secretly gay.

Group socialization is never for me--especially camaraderie. As for the calibre of actors, I suspect most of those people had achieved their Bela Lugosi levels of the double Ds of drink and the D-list. Adolphe Menjou would have been on there too had he not died.

Comics:
Batman should win a physical fight as he supposedly is a master of every known martial art, whereas Bond just knows some basic judo and other self defense.

Gadgets go to Batman although recent Bond has bordered on ridiculous.

Movies:
Connery and Craig look like the only 2 Bonds that physically could seriously hurt you, especially Craig.

Pierce couldn't hurt a woman with his physique.

Recent Batman wins this also, as his training looks to be far superior to Bond's.

Bond however wins the good taste, social, sexual, - at least the original.
If firearms, Bonds definitly has this easy.

Actually Bond good taste has consisently downward spiralled from the original Connery series. His tastes were to be impeccable, but are now just commerical.

Bond in Brioni, he's f'ing English? Seamaster by Omega? Church's shoes? WTF
