Need some help here. My hair is quite thick, short ish and when it gets to any kind of length it starts to curl a little bit at the ends which is really annoying. How can I get my hair like this...

So I noticed my hair is kind of tangled when I put American Crew fiber in it. Like I run my hand through my hair when styling it and it pulls when I get near the tips. Is this from the fiber or is it probably from the shampoo I am using?

Choices 1) Keep your hair at pre-curl length. My hair gets curly at a certain length and it starts looking horrible. Well, I assume I should post this here since it has to do with my hair. I'm looking for advice as to what type of hairstyle I should get. I've had it long for a good while now, although it's almost always up in a ponytail while I wear a hat.

Anyway, here's me like an hour ago. Taken with a cellphone since I don't actually own a good camera. So exactly what type of hairstyle do you think would look best on me? I'm wanting something new, and I'm comfortable with what I have so I don't want to mess it up by getting a haircut that looks bad.

What's up with everybody, I shampoo my hair every morning. Doing it wrong?

it depends on if your hair is oily then shampoo but if it isn't shampooing is going to make it dry and flaky.

Anyways i watched some slikhaar TV on youtube, the guy has decent hairstyles some are actually pretty good.

What type of gels are out there that I could use to style my hair, and then just wash it out with water without having to use shampoo?

Hey guys, I have wavy shoulder length hair that's medium in thickness (look at my avatar) and I was wondering which hair product would be best to control it. I would like a non-greasy hair product that has a decent hold, and that's great for managing long hair for males. I really don't know anything about hair products, so if anyone would be kind enough to recommend me a certain brand and type of product it would be much appreciated! My girlfriend recommended American Crew but I don`t know which product would be best out of all of them...

What's your goal? Can you link to somebody's hair that you wish to emulate? You might want to start with some leave-in conditioner just to keep the flyaways down. That might be enough. Garnier Fructis is $3 http://www.walmart.com/ip/Garnier-Fr...z-3pk/12338297

Thanks for the response man. I'd like to have similar hair to Johnny Depp and River Phoenix. My hair is presently the same length and my hair type is similar, I just need a product to control and manage my wavy hair a bit more. Keeping flyaways down would also be great.

Compared to Depp and Phoenix, your hair texture appears more coarse and wavier - like Eddie Vedder. If you want it to look like Depp, you're going to need something like a Brazilian Keratin Treatment - a highly effective but expensive product/procedure. It'll work great, though. You'd have to redo it every 3 months or so. Check Youtube vids of you want to see how the procedure is performed. It's going to be trial and error to find the product. If you want your hair to look like it's a few days after washing and more in control, test out Jonathan Antin Dirt, which you can find at Sephora. It's pretty good because it doesn't look like you have any product in your hair. If it doesn't work they'll let you return it. And try the Garnier Leave In Conditioner. You're out $3 if it doesn't work for you. Perhaps it'll be a combination of the Dirt and the Garnier that'll do it. Finally, if your GF is set on American Crew products, you can get a huge discount if you can find it at Ross, TJ Maxx, Marshall's, etc.
