Is it worth it to spring for a natural bristle Kent brush over a nylon one like their Headhog model?

I have thick wavy dry hair. Should I look at a wax or a clay or max hold? I'm looking to get a quiff style done in the next couple of days. My hair is ~9 inches on top. I always have to load my hair up with hairspray to keep it from drooping and it drives me nuts.

This stuff is awesome. I think it would do you well. http://us.davines.com/this-is-a-strong-moulding-clay/d/1077C459

Anybody have pictures of cuts similar to this (slightly shorter / less dramatic versions pref)?  I like the sides - shaved near the temples but longer everywhere else.   I might not be able to do this cuz asian though

This is my hair basically. I don't use a hair dryer I towel dry and use lush dirty cream and then a clay. I personally like Baxter matte pomade the best.

I've been using Crew forming cream for a while now and am looking to upgrade. I'd like something with a little more hold that's less likely to clump. Any recommendations?

I've got rail straight, fine but thick hair. I've been using some random garnier fructis stuff mainly because it has a decent hold and it doesn't look like I've got anything in my hair, any refs for something similar but better? Main thing is that I don't want it to look like there's anything in my hair

After just witnessing your hair for the first time in another thread, I'll be keeping an eye out for this to come back in stock.

Guys are all hair waxes sticky when touching the hair? I know American Crew Fiber leaves the hair feeling sticky. Is there a product (no Gel) that doesn't leave the hair feeling sticky/pasty?

Creams shouldn't leave your hair sticky. The catch being they don't usually have as much hold unless you are willing to drop much more then what crew runs you.

Any SFers in the Baltimore area know where to get a good haircut? Also looking into styling product for hair, should pomade be enough or is it worth looking into other things if you have curly hair?
