Advice on Emerald ring

Gents

I have placed this in the "˜General' section as it is not a gents style/fashion matter.

Rather I need to get a steer and some helpful advice on rings. Its coming up to the 10th anniversary etc, etc...and the enemy has for a while wanted an emerald ring to wear on her little/pinky finger - preferbally in gold (not white) and with a small square or round emerald with/optional a small cluster of stones (providing the stones are some genuine stones and not some cheap meaningless crap).
The budget is not unlimited - but I would go up to £1500 and if its a really awesome ring £2000

Please see the attached link as its the first thing I have come across.

The enemy has a lot of "˜Indian' gold - which is 22carrat and quite a strong colour compared to 9carrat gold.

I have about a month or so to research and buy.

Grateful to you all.

The emerald rings in your link are priced above their actual worth and the emerald quality also might not be the best out there. Try to get an unoiled emerald if you can and I would say look for vintage rings from top jewelers like Cartier, Tiffany etc.

Here are a few that I can suggest

http://cgi.ebay.com/ESTATE-CARTIER-1...item5d2defaa38

http://cgi.ebay.com/RARE-ESTATE-CART...item3365b56b25

http://cgi.ebay.com/Tiffany-Co-Plat-...item3f081a7801

http://cgi.ebay.com/Tiffany-3-stone-...item25620e855b

http://cgi.ebay.com/TIFFANY-CO-18K-G...item3f077b2bc8

Just make sure to ask the seller that the ring you buy could be resized to fit your wife.
