Don't worry, I doubt you live where I do.

I should mention I have mild to progressively moderate symptoms of OCD.

Public toilet water was probably in the same place your home toilet water was before it filled up your toilet.

It's more of a psychological issue than a logical one.

I briefly dated a girl who would do the full layer of TP on the toilet seat every time. I know this, because she even fucking did it at my condo. My condo is pretty much spotless at all times too. I was always like WTF is all my TP going. I didn't date her very long. She was germophobe to the nth degree.

I don't know, I've just always had a strong aversion to using public restrooms. I'm getting better with it though. I went camping in the desert for 2 weeks last month and was forced to give up and break some of my regular hygienic habits. Overall, I think I'm a bit less compulsive about it all now.

There was only like 10 of us there and I was the new guy so they knew it was me.

Just flush it, christ.

You basically put yourself through what's known as immersion therapy. I used to have a similar problem with public shitters, though not quite as extreme. I just felt like I would be incurably dirty or smelly or somehow tainted for the rest of the day after using them. Naturally, my aversion to public toilets for #2 became untenable. Sooner or later, I'd have to drop a deuce at work. What really forced the issue was a bout of explosive diarrhea that I just could not contain until the end of the workday. I dropped my unholy payload in the public toilet, the world didn't come to a screeching end afterward, and I realized that my fear was baseless.

Just went to take a leak, and my floors resident "self talker" was rocking a nasty deuce while holding a conversation with himself. So fucking weird.

a bit off topic, but one time I had to terminate an employee for having phone sex and jerking off in the stock room on the company phone.

If that's a fire-able offense I'd have a 37-page resume.
