OP - good on ya. I appreciate creativity and talent whenever I see it.

Don't worry, this is a tough crowd. Unless your product is made by Italians with names we can't pronounce, English shoemakers, or French leather makers specializing in green leather, all of which retails for a lot more than they are worth, but are always purchased at a significant discount, you won't get much traction here.

I understand OP specified that the brand of Duct Tape is actually Duck Tape. My comment stands independent of that, as a plea to good tastes everywhere.

C'mon, if duct/duck tape wallets bearing West Virginia logos aren't cannon fodder on a forum like this, I am at a loss for what is - aside from my terrible fits.

OP, again, you seem like a really nice guy, and my (alarmingly singular) appraisal of your handiwork shouldn't dissuade you from making them to your heart's content. They are definitely interesting.

If you can't Duck it, fuck it.

Those look like they take much time to make. I bet if you switched to NASCAR themes, as opposed to NFL themes, you could make a killing.

My wife purchased a coin purse made using a similar technique at Chichen Itza. Instead of duct tape, the local Mayans use the labels from discarded soda and water bottles.

I appreciate seeing unexpected/unique materials being used for accessories, especially when one can't instantly recognize what that material is. Works perfectly for a wallet, which to me really should speak to the owner's individuality.

Despite this, OP, your creative use of duct tape for wallets, etc would probably be better appreciated in the SW&D section, where experimentation is generally better-tolerated.

Somebody should pm Foo about this immediately. Can you do one in green? The jokes just write themselves.

Just because it's in Wikipedia doesn't make it right. In fact, schools, universities, doctors etc. recommend staying away from Wikipedia because of how many things on there are wrong. Don't automatically assume that something on Wikipedia is right just because it's written there, because that's not the case at all. I'm not commenting on this subject in particular, just overall. I see a lot of people on the internet blindly quoting from Wikipedia without realising what they're doing. Whatever it's called, the products made from it are damn ugly. Sorry, but there you go. Keep making your items, though. You just have to know your crowd and how/where to sell your stuff. This place isn't one of them.

Duck tape is the brand name, not the name of the product (as evidenced on the product label). Like I said, whatever it's called, the products made from them are damn ugly, and this isn't the place to either show them off or sell them. Sorry, but I don't find the wallets in the least funny.
