Canceller's biggest drawback is he's pretty much only playable in mono black, and i guess your only hope against caw or valakut are IoK and Duress. Maybe the next set fixes the meta, maybe it doesn't. If squadron hawk is in M12, I will shoot somebody... I hope they print more planeswalker hosers (at least one has been spoiled). I think the reason 4-6 drops are so powerful right now is because of the absurd speed of the standard metagame. The fundamental turn right now is something like T3 or T4. For something to come after that, it has to REALLY be a freakin bomb. I remember the first six-drop I ever opened. Urza's Avenger.Compare that relic to what's being thrown around now and you just cry at the power creep.

This was a gift from my boss. I kept it for a few months before I just sold it. It is pretty solid. Made in USA. You can't beat the quality. If I needed a sterling silver money clip I would buy a...

So of all people to get me into Magic it was my girlfriend who is a beast and just started playing a week prior to me. I had no idea that it was still going so strong. I have visited a few card shops locally and business seems to be booming more then my nerdier days in the late 90's. Thankfully I have learned not to waist money on packs and just buy the singles needed for the decks I want to make. Still spending to much on the game though. Already have 3 decks. Might try and do a tournament or two if I can find a place that doesn't have the uber serious magic players.
